Amora Hotels and Resorts commence $73million transformation of Adelaide landmark
International hospitality brand Amora Hotels & Resorts will make its Adelaide debut on 1 July with the launch of Amora Adelaide.
Family-owned by Siriphatrawan family hoteliers, with a long heritage in international hospitality, Amora Adelaide will be the brand’s fourth Australian hotel, joining a portfolio across Australia and Asia renowned for combining luxury with genuine hospitality.
Known for its refined luxury, exceptional service and experiences, and design that reflects the character of its surroundings, the brand’s arrival marks a new chapter for the landmark Adelaide property.
Located in the heart of the city on Victoria Square, the hotel will undergo extensive redevelopment to create Adelaide’s newest and genuine five-star destination.
Led by acclaimed architectural design company Cottee Parker, the transformation will include a reimagined grand lobby that will create striking first impressions upon arrival.
The addition of Victoria’s Table, a brasserie style cafe, further enhances Amora Adelaide’s already impressive dining and beverage offering. A major transformation will breathe a new life into Coal Cellar + Grill, and will continue to showcase the very best of South Australian flavours in a sophisticated setting.
Inspired by the spirit and landscapes of South Australia, the hotel’s 380 guest rooms will feature sophisticated furnishings and refined design, drawing on tones and textures reminiscent of rolling hills, morning mist and caramel sunsets.
A 660sqm grand ballroom, over 2,200sqm of function space, supported by multi-million-dollar, state-of-the-art audiovisual technology.
Officially taking its place in July, Amora Adelaide will emerge as a defining destination for premium accommodation, dining and events in South Australia.
Amora Adelaide signals a bold new chapter for one of the city’s most recognisable buildings, redefining the experience of luxury stays in the heart of Adelaide.
The hotel will continue operating throughout the transition, officially becoming Amora Adelaide from 1 July. Works across the property will progress in stages, with the full transformation scheduled for completion in mid- 2027.
