Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals Announces Cancellation of HITEC MENA

Austin, Texas, USA — Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) today announced the cancellation of the upcoming HITEC MENA, originally scheduled for June 2–4, 2026, in Dubai, UAE.

Following careful consideration of the current operating environment for large international events, HFTP concluded that it would be prudent to pause the 2026 edition of HITEC MENA. The decision reflects a combination of logistical and operational factors that, at this time, would make it challenging to deliver the high-quality experience expected by exhibitors, partners, and attendees.

International events of this scale rely on a stable planning environment, including consistent insurance coverage and travel accessibility. Given the present circumstances, HFTP determined that proceeding with the event this year would not be in the best interests of its global community.

HFTP deeply values our relationships and the vibrant hospitality community across the Middle East and North Africa. This decision reflects timing rather than long-term confidence. We remain optimistic about the region and look forward to returning with HITEC MENA when conditions are better aligned for a successful event.
