Sustainability Q&A: GCSTIMES Certifications, Accreditations & External Initiatives
As part of our ongoing sustainability Q&A series, this section highlights how our sustainability commitments are supported by recognized certifications, global initiatives and formal environmental policies.
Q9: Have you received certifications or recognitions related to sustainability?
GCSTIMES maintains a number of internationally-recognized management system certifications and sustainability accreditations. These include EcoVadis, FSC Chain of Custody(CoC) certification, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001, etc. These certifications reflect our commitment to responsible management practices across quality, environmental performance, occupational health and safety, and information security. Supporting documentation can be provided upon request.
Q10: Do you participate in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment?
We also participate in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment and maintain a valid scorecard. This independent evaluation assesses companies across environmental, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement practices. Our most recent scorecard, including the assessment date and reference number, can be provided upon request.
Q11: Have you joined any global sustainability initiatives?
GCSTIMES has joined international sustainability initiatives. We are a participant (Participant ID: 162459) of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and support its Ten Principles covering environmental protection, labour standards, human rights and anti-corruption. Through this participation, we align our operations with globally recognised responsible business standards.
Q12: Do you have a formal Environmental Policy?
To further guide our environmental management practices, GCSTIMES has established and published a formal Environmental Policy. This policy addresses key focus areas including energy and carbon management, green materials and products, green logistics, packaging reduction, recycling and circular economy practices, pollution control and regulatory compliance. The policy is continuously reviewed and updated to support ongoing implementation and improvement.
In the coming updates, we will continue to share more details about our sustainable initiatives and progress as we work toward building a more sustainable and responsible future. To learn more, please visit the Sustainability section on our official website: www.gcstimes.com/sustainability
